Additional Information from Gene
Find out more about this design 👉
Holiday spirit? Apparently, it's mandatory.
Gene didn't volunteer for Christmas festivities. He didn't ask for the Santa hat. And he's certainly not responsible for the tangled Christmas lights trailing behind him.
But here he is. Festive against his will.
Our Festive Against My Will Capybara Long Sleeve Shirt features Gene sitting in his little red wagon, wearing a Santa hat and looking completely unimpressed with the holiday celebrations happening around him.
With its minimalist hand-drawn design, understated Christmas humor, and comfortable long sleeves, this funny holiday shirt is perfect for anyone who enjoys the season but could do without some of the enthusiasm.
Because you can appreciate Christmas without wanting to participate in every single festive activity.
Why You'll Love It

Design Notes
This original Capy Life design features Gene the Capybara sitting in a bright red wagon, wearing a Santa hat with his usual calm, slightly unimpressed expression.
A tangled strand of colorful Christmas lights trails behind the wagon, suggesting that Gene has somehow been recruited for holiday decorating duties.
Beneath the illustration, the handwritten phrase "Festive against my will." delivers the perfect understated punchline.
The compact, center-chest design gives this long sleeve shirt a relaxed, minimalist look that's easy to wear throughout the holiday season.
Holiday Cheer, on Your Own Terms
Some people start playing Christmas music in October. Others decorate every available surface and enthusiastically volunteer for every holiday activity.
And then there's Gene.
He'll wear the hat. He'll sit in the wagon. He might even tolerate the Christmas lights.
But enthusiasm was never part of the agreement.
