Design Notes

This original Capy Life illustration captures a quiet moment at the North Pole.

Santa has settled into his favorite armchair for a much-needed nap, with a few wrapped presents waiting beside him. Unfortunately for Santa, Gene has spotted an opportunity.

Wearing his cozy blue scarf, Gene stands beside Santa's chair, carefully inspecting the very long naughty and nice list.

The simple handwritten words "just checking." complete the scene with Gene's signature understated humor.

Set against a muted, vintage-inspired red background, the artwork combines traditional Christmas colors with a playful, minimalist style that's festive without being overly flashy.

A Little Peace of Mind Before Christmas

Santa makes a list.

He checks it twice.

But does anyone ever check his work?

Gene has some concerns.

Nothing major, of course. Just a few questions about the criteria, the accuracy of the records, and whether certain incidents have been taken out of context.

Fortunately, Santa seems to be sleeping.

And Gene has found the list.

Just checking.

Whether you're shopping for a child, teen, parent, or friend, this festive throw brings together warmth, original artwork, and a little holiday humor.

Because sometimes the best Christmas gifts are the ones that make you smile before you even unwrap them.
