Additional Information from Gene

Some outings are chosen. Others happen to you.
This funny capybara t-shirt features Gene sitting quietly in a little red wagon beneath the words “Here against my will.” He isn’t causing a scene. He isn’t asking to go home. But he would like it officially documented that attendance was not his idea.
The small, lightly colored design gives this tee a more understated look than a traditional graphic shirt, making it easy to wear while still delivering exactly the right amount of dry humor.
Why You’ll Love It
• Original hand-drawn Gene the Capybara artwork
• Small, minimalist center-chest design
• Soft, lightly colored illustration for an understated look
• Funny, relatable humor without a loud graphic
• Easy everyday tee for errands, gatherings, work, weekends, and other mandatory appearances
• Gene is technically present. Enthusiasm was not included.
Perfect For
• Introverts
• Homebodies
• Reluctant socializers
• Parents dragged to one more activity
• People who agreed to plans three weeks ago and now regret everything
• Anyone attending purely because someone else made them
Makes a Great Gift For
That friend who would rather be home, the spouse who was told to get in the car, the coworker reluctantly attending the function, or anyone whose face regularly says, I did not volunteer for this.
Design Notes
Gene has been placed in the wagon. The wagon is going somewhere. Gene was apparently not consulted.
The smaller center design combines warm, muted colors with simple hand-drawn artwork for a relaxed, slightly vintage feel that lets the joke stay wonderfully low-key.

Gift-Ready Vibes. 🎁
Wrapped in laughter, sealed with chill. Every Capy Life item arrives ready to make someone’s day — whether it’s a teacher, a friend who’s “in their unbothered era,” or the person who already owns too many mugs (but still needs one more).
Thoughtful, funny, and 100% original — because gifts should feel as good to give as they do to open.
