It wasn't intentional. Mostly.

Christmas decorating doesn't always go according to plan. Especially when Gene gets involved.

Design Notes

This original Capy Life illustration features Gene the Capybara sitting peacefully while wrapped in a tangled string of colorful Christmas lights.

Red, green, and yellow bulbs add a little festive color to the simple hand-drawn artwork, while Gene's characteristically unbothered expression makes the situation even funnier.

The handwritten phrase "Does this count as naughty?" sits beneath the illustration, turning an innocent decorating mishap into a question about Santa's naughty and nice list.

The compact center-chest design keeps the look relaxed and understated, while the available shirt colors offer different ways to wear a little holiday humor.

A Little Christmas Mischief

Some people decorate the tree.

Some people hang the lights.

Gene somehow became the lights.

He's not entirely sure how it happened, and he doesn't seem particularly interested in untangling himself.

There's really only one thing he needs to know.

Does this count as naughty?
